Gillian Hess was previously a Senior Analyst at Evercore.

At Evercore, Gillian served in the Strategic Shareholder, Activism Defense and Hostile M&A Advisory group within the investment banking division. She provided public companies with strategic advice in special situations around hostile activity, contested mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and other ESG initiatives. Prior to joining Evercore in 2019, Gillian was an analyst within the Structured Credit group at Deutsche Bank, where she supported the asset-backed securities underwriting team in executing bilateral transactions and rated securitizations. She received her BA from Harvard University.
